Today in Class
Math: Special Thanks to Nathaniel for setting up a class Fai-To activity with dividing fractions. Also special thanks to Julia and Obed for be our class scribes. Today we did a review activity which mixed a variety of functions and students had to recall lessons of the past with current lessons. Special thanks to Eli for showing everyone how to change the settings so they could pick the amount of time for each problem. Connect Four Math Game
Language Arts: We did a Progress Monitoring writing prompt today. We are finishing up our Google Lit Trips which are due today. I hope to determine a way to post them on the wiki so they can be seen by parents.
Science: Enthusiasm is building as we continue to work on our Marine Biome Research. Students are learning about many different organisms in the Great Barrier Reef and how those organisms interact with each other.
Social Studies: Quiz on Provinces, Captials and physical features of Canada.
Currently during breakfast we are reading Anne of Green Gables.
